Introducing Team Rider Laila Edwards
Laila Edwards is an FEI Young Rider based in Wellington, Florida, currently competing in the Young Rider division with her KWPN mare, Farah Jade. Her path in the sport began at a young age and has taken her through eventing, natural horsemanship, and eventually to her true passion—dressage.
Through years of grooming for a number of top FEI trainers, Laila has developed a strong foundation in horsemanship and a deep respect for the importance of classical dressage. Those experiences have shown her how thoughtful, correct training can bring out the best in each horse—mentally, physically, and emotionally. She’s committed to continuing her education and becoming the best rider she can be for the horses she has the privilege to work with.
With Farah Jade, Laila has competed at the North American Youth Championships (NAYC) and the Festival of Champions, where they earned an Individual Bronze Medal in the Junior division. Now training under Katherine Bateson, she continues to develop as a competitor in the FEI Young Rider division, with ambitions beyond.
Laila loves the Diva bridle for its exceptional quality and thoughtful design. “I love how soft and beautiful the bridles are, and how they keep every horse happy and stylish.”
