Butter soft, padded nappa premium leather reins in black and brown. Nappa leather is cow or calf skin leather renowned for its even grain and smooth feel. It is a quality of leather that is worth the investment.

Reins come with quality stainless steel fittings and have a lot of ‘give’, creating a steady but forgiving connection with the horse’s mouth. 

These reins will add the air of quality to any bridle.

Please note, we are in the process of changing all reins from a buckle fitting to a billet fitting due to customer demand. While in this transition period, we unfortunately cannot guarantee which style of noseband closure will be dispatched.

Reins Sizing Chart:

 

Standard Bridle Sizing Chart:

 

Browband: Measured from the end of each loop, straight across. Even if the style is curved. Standard browband loops are approximately 3cm wide.

Noseband: Measured as a circumference.

Headpiece: Measure from bit, to bit, over the top of the horse's head.

 

Bitless Bridle Sizing Chart:

Headpiece: Measure from ring to ring (where reins attach), over the top of the horse's head.

Noseband: Measured as inner circumference.

Throat lash: Measured from where the strap attaches to the cheek piece on each size.

Browband: Measured from the end of each loop, straight across. Even if the style is curved. Standard browband loops are approximately 3cm wide.

 

Breastplates

How do you measure your breastplate? 

The measurements below are from the middle hole, with 2-3 holes on either side. They are also measured to the end of each loop. It is recommended you use chalk to jot out the shape of your breastplate prior to measurement.
