The ‘Santiago’ bitless bridle has been designed for those looking for a classic bitless bridle that works for any occasion; from trail riding to the dressage arena. With a simple silver clincher style browband the Santiago looks sophisticated while also being durable for everyday rides.

The noseband is a slightly raised cavesson with a “side pull” functionality, thanks to the quality stainless steel rings. The noseband has a simple buckle closure under the jaw, with a gel pad to cushion the horse’s face from the buckle.

Like all Lumiere bridles, the Santiago has been designed anatomically and has a monocrown headpiece with plush gel padding over the poll. The headpiece has been designed with space for the ears, allowing freedom of movement and the utmost in comfort. Handcrafted from premium leather, the noseband of the Santiago is lightly padded with our signature gel making it comfortable yet not too bulky.

Santigao features an easy-change browband with stainless steel satin buttons, which match the quality stainless steel fittings on the bridle buckles and clincher browband.

Browband: Measured from the end of each loop, straight across. Even if the style is curved. Standard browband loops are approximately 3cm wide.

Noseband: Measured as a circumference.

Headpiece: Measure from bit, to bit, over the top of the horse's head.

Bitless Bridle Sizing Chart:

Headpiece: Measure from ring to ring (where reins attach), over the top of the horse's head.

Noseband: Measured as inner circumference.

Throat lash: Measured from where the strap attaches to the cheek piece on each size.

Browband: Measured from the end of each loop, straight across. Even if the style is curved. Standard browband loops are approximately 3cm wide.

Breastplates

How do you measure your breastplate?

The measurements below are from the middle hole, with 2-3 holes on either side. They are also measured to the end of each loop. It is recommended you use chalk to jot out the shape of your breastplate prior to measurement.
