Introducing Team Rider Shenae Lowings - NSW Australia

Shenae Lowings is one of Australia’s most promising eventers. With her sights set on representing Australia in the LA Olympics, she has already represented Australia at 5* level events including the 2024 Paris Olympics where she replaced Kevin McNab after he retired on the second day of competition.

Shenae was first introduced to ponies as a five-year-old and has been riding competitively for more than half her life. Originally a West Australian girl, Shenae grew up in Attadale in suburban Perth and she is now based out of Werombi, NSW.

Other career highlights for Shanae include competing at the 2022 World Championships in Vivaro del Pratoni and winning the CCI4*-L at the 2022 Melbourne International 3 Day Event.

Shenae’s main ride is her Off the Track Thoroughbred (OTT) Bold Venture, and with Bold Venture she provides a great example of the elite level of sport retired racehorses can achieve post-racing.

Shenae and Bold Ventre’s favourite Lumiere piece is the ‘Melodie’ bridle with a hint of added bling from the black Onyx browband.

Looking towards a bright future, Shenae is hoping to join the Australian Team again for the next Olympics and we are excited to be part of her journey.
